590,850. Dual-purpose vehicle bodies. RADFORD & CO., Ltd., H., and RADFORD, H. April 23, 1945, No. 10132. [Classes 103 (ii) and 108 (i)] A dual-purpose vehicle body for fitment to the chassis behind the driving cab 4 has its roof 1 set above that of the cab and a depending front wall 20 connected to the rear edge of the cab by a weathertight joint, such as welding, and is provided with rear doors 5, 6 a flat floor 9, and folding seats 10, 11 carried by box-like covers 12, 13 for the wheel arches, the seats having drop supports 16, 17 at their front edges which engage sockets 18 in the floor when in use, but leave it free of obstruction when the seats are folded back for the transport of goods or livestock. A removable partition 23 carrying halter rings 24 may be fitted between the driver's compartment and the interior of the body when carrying livestock.
