636,645. Fluid-pressure servomotor-control systems. MORRIS, C. Nov. 28, 1947, No. 31514. [Class 135] A float-operated valve for controlling the supply from a hydraulic mains to a. storage tank comprises a body 2 with an inlet 2a and an outlet 5 controlled by a main valve member 6 which is maintained on its seat by mains pressure in chambers 8 and 9. A pilot valve member 12 is actuated by a float through a lever 23 to exhaust these chambers when the level in the tank has fallen a predetermined amount, i.e. an amount equivalent to the distance between a fixed roller 27 and an adjustable stop 28, thus permitting mains pressure acting on the base of the member 6 to open the said member. An arrangement is shown of two such valves supplying a tank and operable at different levels.
