Abstract

627,723. Electromagnetic relays. IGRANIC ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. Nov. 7, 1946, No. 33110. Convention date; Nov. 7, 1945. [Class 38(v)] A relay which, when energized will cause its contacts 17 to move from the central position shown into engagement with a contact 18 and then, after a time interval, back past the central position into engagement with a contact 19, has two windings 20, 21 arranged so as to act in opposition, the winding 21 being shunted by a condenser 22. When the switch 11 is first closed little current flows through windings 21 owing to the condenser 22 being charged and the winding 20 overpowers it, but later the winding 21 overpowers the winding and reverses the movement.
