626,825. Door knockers ; hinges, PHILLIPS & CROSS, Ltd., and HOLLIS, W. J. Sept. 3, 1947, No, 24263. [Classes 65 (i) and 65 (ii)] [Also in Group XIV] A door knocker 11, provided with a cylindrical or part-cylindrical head 12, is pivotally attached to an attachment plate 13 provided with a part-cylindrical seat 16, the ends of which serve to prevent axial movement of the head. The latter is retained in the seat by means of a screw 21 or the like which is inserted through a circumferential slot 22 provided in the seat and engages in the head. An alternative tapped hole 23 for the screws is provided in the head.
