Abstract
1,073,018. Vibratory centrifuge. KLOCK NER-HUMBOLDT-DEUTZ A. G. Aug. 4, 1964 [July 31, 1963], No. 31193/64. Addition to 977,926. Heading B1D. To allow for misalignment of the screen drum 1 and the cylindrical member 17 which effects the rotation of the drum rubber springs 15 which bear against a member 12-14 attached to the inner cone 10 grip a flange 16 of the member 17 and allow an oblique position of the drum axis in relation to the axis of the member to be assumed. The member 17 is mounted on a carrier sleeve 19 through which extends a rod 21 of a drive 22 which imparts the vibratory motion to the drum. The rod is connected through a revolving bearing 23 and a loose coupling 24, 25 with the wall 27 which closes the inner cone. The wall is curved so that the loose coupling lies in substantially in the same plane as the flange 16 so that the mobility of the drum in relation to the member 17 is not affected by the loose coupling.
