[Class 83 (iv)] Method of securing a wheel hub to another part comprising forming the two parts from metals having different hardness and one or both with ridges &c. and then forcing the parts together. A flanged steel ring g having holes f for spokes e is forced over the end of a cast zinc alloy hub a having an annular surface b slightly smaller or equal in diameter to the inner face of the ring g and formed with ridges c which become deformed in the process.
