[Class 38 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXIX] A tuned circuit, for use with power networks having superposed audio-frequency control currents (see Group XXXIX) comprises a transformer characterised by a plurality of small air gaps 2 uniformly distributed over the length of the iron core, the cross-section of the core and the winding are of large dimensions, and the primary and secondary windings are closely coupled to make the losses small.
