[Class 52 (iv)] In cushion-filling apparatus wherein the stuffing- material is placed in an adiustable open-ended filling box and is ejected into a cushion-cover the ejecting means consist of a plunger plate m' on a rack bar m which can be reciprocated by a pinion n operated by a crank p. The filling box is in two telescoping parts adjustable by right and left-handed screws operable by a crank f<SP>2</SP> and the lids of the respective parts are held down by a lever g pivoted to a post hand retained by a pivoted latch or strut k.
