Abstract

620,547. Stuffing-apparatus. JELLY & CO., Ltd., and JELLY, A. H. Jan. 22, 1947, No. 1977. [Class 52 (iv)] In a cushion-filling machine wherein the stuffing 17 is ejected by a ram from a box mould constructed with two telescopically adjustable sections one of the said sections 4 is fixed to the machine framing. As shown the ram 20 is mounted on a rack bar 24 operated through gearing 30, 31 by a handle 32 and the movable section 6 of the mould can be adjusted in relation to the fixed section by screw and nut mechanism operated by a handle 16.
