Abstract
<PICT:0615513/III/1> In the manufacture of fertilizers of or mainly of superphosphates, dry powders or finished products just made are re-circulated back, e.g. at 3 and 3a into the viscous mass, e.g. of sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid, lime, phosphate, &c. issuing continuously or intermittently from the mixer 1 and still reacting, the mixture then being further worked in a drying, crystallizing and cooling apparatus 27, 28, preferably heat-insulated at 5. The final product, which may include other fertilizing substances is in a state of subdivision dependent upon the dryness &c. of the recirculated material.
