Abstract

An electrical feed-through for an immersed transformer comprises a flat conductor 1 with rounded edges mounted and secured in an aperture formed in an insulator 2. The conductor is secured to the insulator by bolts 9 passing through angled end pieces 7, 8 at each end of the insulator and by screws 10 in the end piece 7 pressing the cap on to the insulator. A space 3 is formed in the insulator to allow circulation of a dielectric liquid, sealing 11, 12, 13 being provided to prevent its leakage.
