[Class 12 (i)] [Also in Group XXXII] A bush 1 of rubber or like material to be retained in an aperture in a plate 4 has at one end a flange 3 which butts against the plate and at the other end has an external groove 5 into which fits an inwardly projecting flange 7 on a rubber or like ring 6, similarly butting against the other face of the plate. That end of the bush, where the groove is provided is of tapering form with the securing ring 6 correspondingly tapered in its bore so as to fit thereover. The arrangement may serve as a bearing for the passage of moving parts, such as a vehicle brake-rod.
