Abstract

609,019. Building blocks; walls. HARTLEY, B. F. Sept. 16, 1946, No. 27725. [Classes 20(iv) and 87(i)] Building blocks 5, 15 formed respectively with vertical apertures 13 and a horizontal channel 16 have inclined outer faces terminating at the lower edges in lips 8 which cover the joint between superposed blocks. The blocks are provided on their upper and lower faces with corresponding grooves 7 and tongues 6. Felt strips 12 are provided in the horizontal joints except at floor levels, where there is a copper sheet 25 extending over the whole width of the blocks. The side edges of the blocks may be grooved. Corner and half blocks are provided.
