601,495. Sawing-machines. OSMOND, Ltd., A. & S., and OSMOND, A. W. Oct. 3, 1945, No. 25723. [Class 145 (ii)] In a machine of the kind in which a cutting disc 20 and its driving motor 10 are carried by a platform 9 movable about a pivot 8 to bring the disc into and out of engagement with work pieces on a base 5, the base is provided with an adjustable stop 23 to limit the downward movement of the platform and with an arcuate bracket 24 to which the platform may, if desired, be secured in an adjusted position by screw means 25. The platform is provided with adjustable fences 6.
