[Class 135] Apparatus for proportioning the flow of two gaseous supplies such as gas and air for a furnace comprises a single diaphragm. d actuating valve members g, g<1> on a common spindle e controlling the supply of the two gases from inlets a, b to passages a<2>, b<2>, the pressures in these passages, acting through further passages s, s<1> on the two sides of the diaphragm so that a rise in pressure on one side causes the valve on that side to close and the other valve to open to maintain the pressures equal. The gases in the passages a<2>, b<2> then pass to outlets r, r<1> which lead to a common delivery conduit (not shown), past proportioning valve members k, k<1> secured together and manually adjustable by a knob o rotation of which effects a longitudinal movement of the dual valve member k, k<1> through the screwthread engagement of a collar q secured to the spindle l. The apparatus may be used in conjunction with any known form of quantity governing valve and/or automatically closing valve.
