[Class 80 (ii)] A driven shaft 9 is rotated at different speeds in the same direction when the driving shaft 1 is rotated in different directions. When the driving shaft 1 is rotated in a clockwise direction, the drive is transmitted through the clutch 5 and pinions 4, 10, and rotation in the opposite direction is transmitted. through the pinions 2, 7, 8, 12, the clutch 11 and pinion 10 that is fixed to the shaft 9; the clutch 5 is inoperative when the shaft 1 rotates in this direction. The drive may be applied to the shaft 6 instead of the shaft 1.
