576,782. Pipe joints. SANDERS, J. R, Feb. 29, 1944, No. 3731. [Class 99 (i)] A device for sealing the passage of tubes through the wall of a boiler flue or the like comprises a divided outer bushing F secured to the tube C by a clamping screw G and adapted to engage packing rings E in a channel-section bushing B having a flange or plate A for attachment to the wall of the flue. The bushing B and flange is also divided, the halves being secured by bolts through lugs K. The packing rings are supported on an annular corrugated spring D.
