[Class 110 (i)] The impeller of a centrifugal pump is formed of a solid disc with a central recess c, forming an annular space d round a boss e which is apertured to receive the shaft, and several passages g drilled to connect the annular space d with the periphery of the disc, these passages being at an angle to the radii of the disc and tangential to the annular space.
