Abstract

572,314. Ceiling roses &c. BLAIN, W., and GELDEREN, K. R. L. VAN. Aug. 20, 1943, No. 13628. [Class 38 (i)] A ceiling rose or like fitting has a moulded base 1 having an inlet aperture or apertures 8 through which the housewiring leads can be passed to terminal bushes 10 that also receive the flex, the bushes. 10 being fixed in posts 9 moulded integral with the base 1. The posts 9 are formed with hooks 12 over which the flex is passed. The bushes 10 have one or two grub screws 11 entering an elongated aperture as described in Specification 570,307. Alternatively bushes with two apertures or other separate terminals may be provided for the supply wire and flex. A cover 3 screws on to an upstanding part 2 of the base and may have a skirt 6 to enclose to base. Specification 20920/14, [Class 38 (i)], also is referred to.
