[Classes 79 (i) and 79 (iii)] A light agricultural tractor such as a cultivator or hoe is provided with a pair of wheels P secured to a tubular member or axle Mz which rotates in bearings in a fixed casing M<1> and is formed with a wormwheel M driven from a petrol engine or electric motor F through a worm L. In the construction shown, the engine F and the casing M<1> are fixed on a frame A which is V-shaped in plan, its apex at B having secured thereto the steering handle C. The cultivating tools S are carried by an arm or arms A<x> secured to the frame A.
