Abstract

557,152. Glazing roofs. PINN, E. L., and RATTENBURY, J. C. Oct. 7, 1942, No. 14103. [Class 20 (iii)] The glass panes are supported at their edges on the roof bars 6, channels 4, 5 to run off water being cut on the ledges 2 on which the panes rest, and wooden beads 7 of triangular crosssection are secured to the bars to retain the panes in position. The top edge of the top pane is inserted in a groove 8 in the cross bar 9 and a thin flat bead 10 is laid on the glass in contact with the cross bar to prevent entry of water into the groove.
