Abstract

The composite metal profile for e.g. window and door frames has a main body with a hollow quadrilateral cross section. Coplanar, opposed flanges extend from one small side of the main body, longitudinal hooks extending from the other three sides of the main body. The hooks cooperate with counter hooks on the side sections which make up the profile. The counter hooks are received in recesses which then receive the edges of panels or panes of glass.
