551,386. Stop valves. SVENSSON, A. W. Nov. 13, 1941, No. 14632. [Class 135] An automatic stop valve has an injector nozzle 9 in the inlet, so that at a certain value of flow, the ball 5 is drawn up out of a recess 7 and forced against seat 6. The ball normally rests on an adjustable pin 8, and a regulable channel 11 leading to the recess below the ball is provided. In another form, the ball rests on a fixed pin and the space below it leads to the atmosphere through an aperture closed by a spring-pressed ball.
