548,846. Band clips. LISTER, R. B., LISTER, W. P., LISTER, J. P., and SMITH, L. E., (trading as LISTER & SONS, J.), and ROGERS, J. T. Aug. 1, 1941, No. 9791. [Class 44] A hose-pipe clip has a hollow member 7 of square or polygonal cross-section secured to one end of the band 5, the member being closed at one end to form abutment for the head 8 of the tightening screw which is passed through a perforation in the end 5b of the band and extends through the member 7. The other perforated end 5a of the band is bent up and passed on to the screw followed by the nut 9 received in and guided by member 7, which has an extension 7b to which the end 5b of the band is secured by screw 6 and with curved surface 7c conforming to the hose pipe, not shown.
