Abstract

540,153. Distributers for seeds, fertilizers &c. PERRY, L. G. April 16, 1940, No. 6832. [Class 6 (i)] The delivery of material from a hopper 10 at the back of a vehicle is regulated by a hinged flap 13 which, when closed, forms part of a wall of the hopper and, when open, forms a delivery shoot. A plate 17 carrying a flexible flap 18 is mounted in front of the delivery shoot to guide the material and to check dust. The hinged flap is opened by a rod 14 coupled to a governor operated in accordance with the speed of the vehicle.
