[Class 39 (i)] The collecting electrodes of electro-filters comprise vertical or approximately vertical plates 1 fitted with projecting louvre plates 2 at an angle to the direction of the gas flow to form catch spaces, the plates 2 being spaced apart so as not to overlap, and also having their inner edges spaced from the plate 1. The plates. 1 with the louvre plates 2 attached are fitted within frames.
