519,242. Fluid-pressure operated servomotor control systems. BOSCH. GES. R., (formerly BOSCH AKT.-GES., R.). Oct. 7, 1938, No. 29072. Convention date, Oct. 11, 1937. [Class 135] [Also in Group XXVII] To prevent stalling of an internal combustion engine upon sudden closing of the throttle valve, auxiliary air is admitted to the induction pipe through a passage 13 under the control of a valve 16 which is carried by a diaphragm 4. The diaphragm is raised when a valve 18 is depressed by the action of the engine suction on a diaphragm 5 the suction being transmitted through a port 21 and passage 22. The chamber 10 is in open communication with the inlet pipe through a passage 23 and a permanently open passage 17 opening above the lower diaphragm 4.
