514,864. Sanitary closets; pushing cisterns. ASSOCIATED CLAY INDUSTRIES, Ltd., and BUTTLE, A. F. June 7, 1938, No. 16817. [Class 26] In a closet suite comprising a cistern integral with, or fitting directly on, the closet structure, with which it communicates by a discharge passage 4, a discharge fitting A in the cistern is formed with a delivery conduit 9 formed to direct the water through an opening 12 in it in a direction along the passage 4, and with a securing extension which projects through an aperture 6 formed in the lower wall of the passage 4 opposite the cistern outlet, the extension being secured, as by a nut 15, externally to the wall. In the form shown, the delivery conduit 9 is straight, and its lower end forms the securing extension on which the nut 15 is screwed. The inclined partition 10 directs the water through the outlet 12 in the direction of the passage 4.
