508,152. Vacuum cleaners. ENDELMAN, M. Aug. 19, 1938, No. 24460. [Class 8 (i)] Suction is produced in a tube a connecting the nozzle b with the dust bag c by a jet of air supplied through a port m, inclined at about 45 degrees to. wards the axis away from the nozzle. A steel liner a<1> prevents erosion by the jet. The supply of compressed air is controlled by a hand valve k. The appliance may form an auxiliary to a vacuum cleaner receiving compressed air from its fan.
