506,713. Drawing fibres. VEREINIGTE KUGELLAGERFABRIKEN AKT.-GES. Nov. 26, 1938, No. 34437: Convention date, Nov. 27, 1937. [Class 120 (ii)] Drawing-apparatus comprising an apron or belt 3, which passes around a guide-bar 4 and is loaded by a tension roller 5 and driven by a roller 1 arranged to draw the bolt away from the guide-bar, is provided with a regulating roller 2 within the apron circuit, which is driven so that the tension of the operative part 31 of the belt is under control. As shown, the rollers 1, 2 are mounted in a common adjustable slide 9 and the roller 2 is driven by friction, directly or by end collars, or by gear transmission; from the roller 1. The roller 5 is carried in a stationary cradle 10 which may be provided with guiding-ribs 14 for the belt 3. The roller 1 serves a number of rollers 2, each provided with two aprons for separate slivers. The top roller 8 may be dispensed with
