[Class 47 (ii)) A foam-producing apparatus comprises a slightly-tapered nozzle pipe B and a container F for foaming agent arranged about the pipe. The rear end of the pipe has a coupling 0 for connection to a source of water under pressure, and comprises air inlets K and an injector nozzle M. A tube J with strainer P and valve H connects the container F with the nozzle M. The container has a handle G for controlling purposes, and a filling plug E embodying an adjustable air vent D.
