Abstract
487,962. Creel frames. REINERS, W., (trading as SCHLAFHORST & CO., W.). Feb. 6, 1937, No. 3635. Convention date, March 17, 1936. [Class 142 (iv)] In creel frames for warping-machines having yarn tensioners and detectors the changing of the bobbins is facilitated by mounting the tensioners and detectors on frames which are separate from the creel frame proper and are freely movable or swingable in relation thereto. The frames carrying the tensioners and detectors may be moved in the direction of their extension and/or transversely thereto and/or may be swung about one or more of their vertical supports ; they may be moved manually or mechanically. In the apparatus shown in Fig. 12 the tensioners and detectors are carried on frames mounted on carriages 21 movable on rails 23 relative to the creel frame 1 ; the carriages may be moved by means of the toothed gear mechanism comprising racks 31, 32 on the carriages engaging a tooth wheel 34 on a shaft 33 to which is fixed amother toothed wheel engaging with a toothed quadrant 35 actuated by a crank 36. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 30027 /12, 241,962, and 330,614, [all in Class 142 (iv)].
