Abstract

330,614. Kershaw, G. Dec 8, 1928. Yarns, warping and beaming.-A creel of the type used in withdrawing yarn from the ends of bobbins comprises a framework f, Fig. 12, carrying movable or stationary guiding &c. frames a and providing support for one or more movable bobbin frames b, which may be removed from the framework by means of a trolly for the purpose of refilling. The bobbin frame b is supported by rollers r and guided by rollers s in rails n, m respectively, and is held in operative position by means of a bar t and a screw u mounted on a movable arm v. The guiding-frames a may be stationary or may be movable to and from the bobbin frame by means of rollers g, h, whilst the tension and guiding devices on the frames may be adapted to permit separate adjustment.
