[Class 120 (ii)] In a gill drawing-frame of the pushbar type the front or drawing roller A is provided with a bearing F, Fig. 3, at or about the middle of its length in addition to the usual end bearings a, al so that it may be made of smaller diameter and thereby shorten the distance between the descending gill pins c, Fig. 1, and the nip D of the rollers A, B. The central bearing is preferably of a ball or roller type and the roller A is formed in two parts screwed together at G. If desired two or more intermediate bearings may be provided.
