835,365. Fibre drafting apparatus. AYMERICH, J. C. April 23, 1958, No. 12940/58. Class 120(2) Double apron drafting apparatus has one apron positioned nearer to the nip point of the drafting rollers than the other and is so located that fibres leaving it are led over one of the drafting rollers. The apparatus is particularly suitable for short fibres and may be arranged in tandem with a drafting apparatus including false twist mechanism. The apron rollers 6, 8, 7, 9 are mounted on pivoted supports 10 that may be adjusted to vary the distance of the roller from the nip of the drafting rollers 4, 5.
