486,060. Indiarubber springs. LORENZ AKT.-GES., C. May 11, 1937, No. 13402. Convention date, May 11, 1936. [Class 108 (iii)] [Also in Group XXXV] A mounting device for damping the vibrations produced by a rotary machine comprises a rubber body 3 vulcanized to discs 1, 2 secured to a casing 5 for the machine and to a fixed support 8 respectively. The disc 1 is circular and is attached to the casing 5 by screws 4 whilst the disc 2, which is of cruciform shape and corresponds to the cross-section of the rubber body 3, is provided with a threaded nut 6 engaged by a bolt 7 passing through the member 8. For the support of a rotary converter in a housing, two of the devices may be utilized, one disc of each device being secured to the end shields of the casing of the converter and the other discs being fixed to the walls of the housing.
