Abstract
485,990. Valve amplifying circuits. PHILCO RADIO & TELEVISION CORPORATION. Nov. 23, 1936, No. 32154/37. Convention date, Nov. 23, 1935. Divided out of 485,924. [Class 40 (v)] Component frequencies of one range and component frequencies of a complementary range are obtained by applying a signal E3 to impedances R2, R3, C2, C3, the two components are amplified separately, and the amplified signals are combined in an output circuit R4. The lower frequencies, including the D.C. component, are derived from the condenser C3 and amplified in a valve V4. The higher frequencies are derived from the resistance R2 and are amplified in a valve V3 with a uniform gain over the higher frequency range, Fig. 3 (not shown). Each amplifier may include a plurality of stages, Fig. 2 (not shown).
