Abstract

483,709. Loose leaf binders. BERBERICH, W. Oct. 22, 1936, No. 28755. [Class 146 (i)] A loose-leaf binder for perforated sheets comprises filing - rings b rigidly attached to a connecting-bar a, a space being provided between the bar and the ends d of the rings which overlap the bar b so as to allow the sheets to be placed on or removed from the rings without deforming the rings. The ends of rings preferably are flared outwardly to facilitate the addition or removal of sheets. Cover-boards perforated similarly to the sheets may also be mounted on the rings. The binding element may be made from a continuous length of wire, each ring being constituted by a loop of the wire bent to the requisite form. The material from which the rings and bar are made may be metal, artificial resin, or celluloid.
