[Class 65 (i)] A combined stop and holder for doors &c. comprises a trapezium-shaped lever 1 pivoted on the floor and having upstanding abutments 3, 4 near each end of its major side 2 and with its pivot 9 disposed nearer the outer abutment 4 and adjacent the minor side 5 at an angle of 30‹ to the line joining the abutments, whereby increased lever. age for movement of the lever to holding position is obtained. The lever may have a second pivotal point 6 so that it may be used for right or left hand doors. The pivot may consist of a screw or nail carried by an adaptor bush secured to the floor and flanged to raise the lever above the floor surface.
