Abstract

In the production of permanent magnets, alloys consisting of 59-69 per cent of copper, 10-30 per cent of nickel, and at least 9,5 per cent of iron are quenched from a temperature between 950 DEG C. and the melting point, preferably in a liquid such as oil having a smaller heat conductivity than water, and thereafter annealed at 500-850 DEG C. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also part of the subject-matter of Specification 15459/37. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
