[Class 35] The bars of a squirrel-cage member are surrounded by a metallic sheath insulated on its inner and outer surfaces with a heat-resisting material. In the form shown, the copper bar 2 is enclosed in an aluminium sheath 1 having oxidized inner and outer surfaces.
