[Class 112] A sewing - machine presser foot 1 has a pair of relatively movable foot plates 16, 18 pivoted to a paii of leg members 5 coaxially pivoted at 6 to the presser 1 and engaged by an equalizing lever 20 pivoted on the foot 1 at 19 and engaging upstanding parts of the legs to equalize the pressure if one of the foot plates is moved higher than the other.
