476,766. Vehicle seats. MORRIS MOTORS, Ltd., and SMITH, S. V. July 23, 1936, No. 20388. [Class 52 (ii)] A vehicle seat comprises an under-carriage consisting of a pair of runners a adjustably supported, e.g. in guides, on the floor of the vehicle, and provided with upturned ends, a frame b mounted on the upturned ends, and a shaped sheet metal back e attached directly to the frame b. The frame b may be made of angle iron and carries a lattice of springs or springs and metal strips on which the seat cushion rests. The back e may be formed with strengthening ribs f, and is upholstered.
