Abstract
475,400. Valve amplifying circuits. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd. May 28, 1937, No. 14850. Convention date, June 20, 1936. [Class 40 (v)] In a negative feed-back amplifier the feedback is taken to a control grid electrically separate from the input control grid. The Figure shows the feed-back 25 applied to one of the co-planar grids of a valve also having screen and suppresser grids, the co-planar grids are negatively biassed. An output bridge may be used to supply the feed-back and one or more of the bridge arms may be variable and frequency dependant to equalize variable line transmission or variable load, alternatively the variable impedance may be across a diagonal of the output bridge.
