[Class 26] [Also in Groups VI and VII] A rubber or like abdomensupporting garment which may be modified to serve as a personal sanitary convenience comprises front and back panels E, B, connected by a waistbelt or, as shown, each having a waist-belt U, T, the panels being connected by gussets A, D, to straps C surrounding the legs which straps are connected by side straps G to the waistbelt or belts. The parts are so shaped as to fit the body closely. For collecting discharged urine the catamenial pad S shown is replaced by an almond-shaped depression formed between the legs and connected by a rubber tube to a rubber collecting vessel, the vessel having a drain cock and being carried by a flexible bag secured at the knee by a pair of garters. Additional pieces of rubber may be applied as reinforcements to the parts in and near the crutch.
