[Class 60] [Also in Group XXII] An attachment for a grinding or like machine for supporting a workpiece for a centreless grinding operation is of the kind having spacedapart pairs of rollers b freely rotatable on axes parallel to that of the work d, and a further driven roller c carried by a lever e which is biassed in one direction by a spring k, Fig. 1, to hold this roller in driving engagement with the work, which may be a valve, the seating of which is to be faced. The driving roller may be withdrawn to release the work by a handle h.
