469,436. Cores for dynamo - electric machines. KOZLOWSKI, H. S. June 10, 1936, No. 16262. [Class 35] A core comprises triangular or polygonal laminae with their corners removed, symmetrically arranged and supported by the inner surface of the casing, the laminae being in bundles so staggered that the corners lie on a helical or zigzag line. In the form shown, the laminae 2 are square with corners 3 cut off to fit the inner periphery of the casing 1 and bundles of these laminae are angularly staggered. Air traverses helical paths between the casing and the peripheries of the laminae from one end of the stator to the other and may also traverse axial ducts in the core.
