[Class 20 (iv)] [Also in Group XXII] Reinforcement for concrete comprises metal bars of substantially round crosssection with one or more continuous or interrupted longitudinal ribs, which are twisted in the cold state to increase both the bonding capacity and elastic limit. The pitch of the convolutions does not exceed fifteen times the diameter of the bar and is preferably between five and ten times the diameter. Two or more such bars may be twisted together, or twisted together and stretched.
