Abstract

461,594. Friction clutches. BORG & BECK CO., Ltd. March 17, 1936, No. 8016. Convention date, April 25, 1935. [Class 80 (ii)] A driven clutch plate comprises a disc 6 formed with radial tongues 8 and 9 bent alternately to either side of the plane of the disc, and facings 13 and 15 secured by rivets 14 and 16 to the tongues 9 and 8 respectively, each rivet serving also to secure a curved cushioning plate 10 arranged between the inner side of each tongue, and the opposite facing. Each plate 10 has a lip 12 engaging a recess 11 in the associated tongue, so as to prevent turning of the plate.
