455,511. Combination ranges. PARK FOUNDRY (BELPER), Ltd., 10, Mortimer Street, Cavendish Square, London, and CORBY, S. F., 61, Friar Gate, Derby. May 28, 1935, No. 15484. [Class 126] In a combination kitchen range having a flue passage 15 leading up behind a back boiler 14 to a space 10 below the hot-plate, an extension 17 of the flue is formed by walls or ribs in this space, the extension passing below one or more boiling rings in the hot-plate and leading to the chimney flue outlet 19. In the form shown, the extension flue passes first forwardly from the top of the boiler flue, then longitudinally, and finally rearwardly to the outlet 19. It is controlled by a sliding damper 20. There are also provided two flues from the top of the open fireplace, one flue 26 leading round the outside and back of the flue 17 to a chimney outlet 27, and the other flue 28 extending beneath the flue 17 to the chimney. Both flues are controlled by a canopy-operated damper 23. The oven is heated by gases passing through bottom, outer side, and top flues to an outlet 31.
